Learn to Accept Help from others.

When you have pain in your body, or your thoughts and feelings are driving you crazy and you don’t know how to deal with things…

Learn to Accept Help from others.

It’s okay to ask for help.

In my book How To Overcome Stress Naturally, Mukti says learning to accept help from others was her biggest lesson in overcoming depression. In Chapter 9, Mukti Lartigau says “I was always the one who helped others. Learning to say no was a big thing and learning to accept help from other people. Sometimes I would be almost teary saying no to people. I realised that physically I could not do it, so I had to say no. That was huge for me. Huge!”

It is OK to say NO…

It is OK to ask for HELP…

It is OK to ask for HELP before the pain gets so severe…

It is OK to ask for HELP to share the load so you have less stress and pain in your life.

Breathe Deeply Daily!

STOP for a Moment and Take a Deep Breath. Be Aware of where you feel pain in your body. Pain tells us that something is out of balance in the body. Stress is a signal that something needs to change.

What part of your body is feeling stressed and in pain?

“I had to learn to listen to my body, which I don’t think I was doing. There is nothing like pain to focus you. If there is pain in my body, I’ll focus there and identify it, give it a personality. I watch the pain. It is as if I can take one step backwards from myself, and I actually observe what’s going on with me. I’m sure other people can do it too.”

“I am more fascinated with the pain than depressed with it” Mukti says.

When you can detach from the pain or stress in your body or your mind – you are able to deal with it more clearly and objectively and take steps to relieve the pain and relieve the stress in your life.

1.    Be Aware of the Pain or Stress

2.    Breathe Deeply – Take a Long Deep Breath to Relax the Body, Relax the Mind

3.    Accept Help from others to Help you Remove the Pain, Relieve the Stress
